Today Jocelyn and Ivy turn SIX months old! I won't say that time has flown, but at the same time I'm surprised that it has been a half-year since they were born. Me and Kyle are loving every minute of being parents! It's so fun and FUNNY to watch their personalities develop. It seems that everyday they learn something new. Today Jocelyn started pulling her knees up under her while she is on her tummy and Ivy realized that the mirror hanging in front of her in the jumper is not a real person but something that she can grab with her hands. Here is a little bit about each of them at 6 months:
Ivy aka Ivis, Wyvis, Chunky Monkey.
She looks a lot like Kyle's side of the family. Blond hair. Blue eyes. Wide forehead. Strong jawline. Fair skin. Taller. Long legs.
At her 6 month appointment: 16.4 lbs, 26.18 inches, 61% weight, 69% height, 94% head
What makes us laugh: While sitting in her bouncy chair she kicks her legs up and down and bounces herself. Sometimes she really gets going and nearly touches the ground! She also gets goosebumps when we tickle her tummy with our face.
She Loves: Her bouncy chair, trying to grab the stream of water that we pour onto her tummy during bathtime, being nakey, music! dancing with Mom to 80's or country music, watching trees in the wind, The Monkey, Baby Einstein Bendy Ball, her bottle.
Her Nemesis': hunger, being on her tummy, bedtime
Eats solids? Yes.

Jocelyn aka Jocy, Periscope, Stalker, Doodlebug.
She looks a lot like Mom's side of the family. Dark/dirty blond hair but will probably be mostly bald until a year old. Brown eyes. "Sets" her mouth. A little darker skin tone. Smaller frame.
At her 6 month appointment: 14.5 lbs, 25 inches, 23% weight, 25% height, 41% head
What makes us laugh: Her huge gummy smile, walking past her room and seeing a little head poking up over the top of the crib watching us, how she bursts out crying whenever a stranger stops to smile at her
She loves: standing!, Twisty Bug, being on her tummy, scratching the mattress while she is trying to fall asleep, being outside, babbling
Her nemesis: Unfamiliar faces and places. Loud noises.
Eats solids? Not really. Sticks her tongue out and locks her lips around it.
WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH JOCY AND IVY AND FEEL SO LUCKY TO BE YOUR PARENTS!

Aww! I love learning about your girls! Thanks for all the info. So cute!
They are so cute. You need to join the baby row at RS on Sunday's. It's fun to have all these babies. BTW where do you get a Twisty Bug? I have looked all over.
Adorable. I am so excited for you and your girls.
