What else do I do besides feed babies?
No longer play Oregon Trail, the guitar, or racquetball
Rarely wear makeup
Sometimes shower
Hardly sleep
Barely remember what life was like before THIS:

Instead we:
Stroll at the park

Ivy loves laying on the grass and watching the trees blow in the wind above her.

Play in our Baby Einstein tunnel
Stare at the ceiling fan for hours on end (who'd have thought a non-moving ceiling fan could be so fascinating)
Work on tummy time

Study each others faces
Talk to "The Bunny." We take a picture next to The Bunny every time we become one month older so we can see how big we are getting! This is Jocelyn at two months.

Me and Kyle have been enjoying eating at home more often now that it is harder to get out. We take turns making food while the other attends to babies. Last week we were missing "
Tony's" coconut shrimp, an incredible place we dined at during our trip to Puerto Vallarta, so we found a coconut shrimp recipe and fried some up. They were SO SO SUPER good. We quickly polished off the bag of 30 shrimp and wished we'd made more!

I love being a Mom even though it is a CRAZY amount of work. I never imagined my life would change so completely. I'm utterly amazed by my mother - at the sacrifices and sleeplessness and selflessness that it must have required to raise 6 kids, 3 of which are triplets. I'm so thankful for good mothers - for both mine and my wonderful mother-in-law. I'm so grateful that she raised a son who is now such an awesome husband and father. I literally could NOT do this motherhood thing without him. He keeps our household running (bills, cleaning, laundry, help feeding and changing babies, washing and vacuuming cars, watching the girls while I go to the gym, putting together baby mobiles, bringing me chocolate and Dr. Pepper when needed, etc). It's exciting to share with him our own little family and I'm looking forward to the challenges and changes and FUN of having kids!
