Back from Puerto Vallarta and Swine Flu Free!
Just a few highlights from the trip to Puerto Vallarta this last week... And NO we didn't bring back the Swine Flu!
Conchas Chinas Beach area. Kyle snorkeled here.

Gettin' food caveman-style.... Too bad the coconut wasn't ripe yet.
They didn't call the hotel we stayed at "Casa Iguana" for nothing! This guy was sunning himself just off the parking area one morning.
I wouldn't have done this. Good thing one of us was brave enough to get a cool shot.
Little spider monkeys licking the honey and baby formula off of my hands. The other one is checking my pockets. I'm laughing my head off the whole time.
Zipline Canopy Tour. Funnest thing we did!!! Swinging from tree to tree like Tarzan and Jane.
The zoo was much more up close and personal than the zoos in the U.S. which is probably not the safest thing because Kyle nearly got his hand taken off by a Mountain Lion that reached its paw through the chain link fence. Very fun to see the animals so close up though! Check out this cute lion's claws hangin' through the fence!
Even the Zebras were hungry! We fed them carrots that came in an animal-feed package we bought at the front gate.
Same with the tortoises.
Beeeautiful sunset. We wanted to see the Green Flash but it didn't happen.
Our super-snazzy VW Pointer rental car. The thing was dented and scuffed all over.

Dinner at Tonys. Best coconut shrimp ever! Ate here twice. Tourism was super slow while we were in PV because of the swine flu scare so almost everywhere we went was empty. A lot of the locals were pretty mad, blaming it on Obama and the U.S. government. They thought that both were making the swine flu scare as big as possible in order to keep tourism at home and stimulate the U.S. economy.
