Well... the baby has grown up!
The last of my five siblings turned 18 on Friday, and what an awesome guy he has become! (*sniff *sniff) Kalin is super-smart, sensitive, funny, FUN to hang out with, good lookin' (anywhere we go girls are always eyeing him), and hard working. The best thing about Kalin though is his always happy-go-lucky attitude. Even when things have been hard in the family, he always has the best attitude and is never grumpy or angry at anyone. I really admire him for that!
We celebrated his birthday by first going out to eat at Texas Roadhouse where he got to ride the "birthday saddle" (don't ever leave the table to use the restroom when it's your birthday!) After that all eight of us headed over to play a game of laser tag and then back to the house for cake and ice cream.
